How it started

The 2 Josh’s met in 2023 and became close friends while making a bow together. Through spending time in ceremony and prayer they found a common desire to grow the ideas and skills of Joshua Hood into a full fledge program helping youth. With the amazing help and support of Oregon Land Trust, Learning Through Land will be stating its first year of programing January 2025

    Joshua Hood is member of the Klamath Tribes (lead instructor) is a current  level 2 certified archery coach through USA archery. He has 17yrs of expeirnce teaching archery.

    Robert’s passion for sustainable architecture is only rivaled by his dedication to the learner. Throughout his professional career, Robert has helped steer the development of educational architecture in the state of Oregon and Washington. His volunteer efforts touched the lives of thousands of students, setting them on a path of life-long learning and environmental stewardship. While mentoring students, he has discovered the need to change the educational program to encompass the building as a teaching tool and is currently working to develop this curriculum.
